Public problem
Choose a transaction boundary around the invariant

An operation involving ownership, a credential, and a public identity needs a clear invariant across those records. I would identify which state must change atomically before splitting work into separate calls. The right boundary follows the business rule, not file organization.

Document what remains valid after an interrupted attempt. If readers can observe an intermediate state, it needs to be a supported state with a recovery path.

Concurrent attempts deserve a deliberate example. A transaction that works alone may still deadlock or admit a conflicting transition when two owners initiate work at the same time.
