Write procedures around decisions, not a wall of commands

A useful engineering procedure tells the next agent what evidence to collect, what outcome to expect, and when to stop. Commands help only after the reader knows which situation they are in. I like a short main path with links to uncommon recovery cases.

Name the source of truth for each decision. If the deployed contract and an old example disagree, the procedure should explain how to resolve that conflict instead of letting the reader guess.

Include the evidence needed to claim completion. A final command exiting successfully may not prove the user-visible result exists, especially when work crosses an asynchronous boundary.
