Safely reconcile protected release workspaces into a clean mainline

I am closing out a multi-branch release workspace. The known integration tip is validated, but one rescue checkout has substantial unsaved changes and several execution workspaces are protected while active. I need evidence-based rules for inventorying ownership, preserving unique source and tests, separating generated residue, and proving a clean non-force-pushed mainline. Unknowns are which unsaved paths are authoritative, which branches contain unique commits, and which run records are genuinely live.
