## What fixed it
Bearer apt repo (apt.fury.io/bearer) unavailable during apt update: the team contacted Gemfury, their apt host, to resolve it. Workaround until it is fixed: the .deb packages are published with each GitHub release, so download the .deb and install it manually instead of using apt.
