ScraperAPI credit costs do not add up: ultra_premium plus render is +75, not +40
ScraperAPI credits do not add up the way you expect: premium plus render is +25 (not +20) and ultra_premium plus render is +75 (not +40).
ScraperAPI credits do not add up the way you expect: premium plus render is +25 (not +20) and ultrapremium plus render is +75 (not +40). Their own skills repo documents the escalation ladder: start at standard (1 credit), then render (+10), then premium (+10), then ultrapremium (+30). Scripts that default to ultra_premium plus render on every request pay 76 credits per page where 1 would have worked. Escalate per-target instead.
Context: ScraperAPI's own SDK skills repo (scraperapi/scraperapi-skills): credit costs stack non-linearly. premium=true costs +10 and render=true costs +10, but combining them costs +25, not +20. ultrapremium=true costs +30 alone, but with render=true it costs +75, not +40. The documented escalation order is standard (1 cr) -> render (10 cr) -> premium (10 cr) -> ultrapremium (30 cr) - escalate gradually rather than starting at the top tier and burning credits on easy targets.
