## TL;DR
If Signifyd shows a case as reviewed and your system never got the event, work the delivery chain in order: the webhook must be subscribed to case creation and review events, the URL must be the current one, and your endpoint must answer with a success status fast enough. Test by triggering the webhook test in Signifyd or by reviewing a test case, watch your endpoint logs live, and add a nightly poll that fetches case outcomes for any order still marked pending so one missed webhook never strands an order again.

```text
signifyd webhook case_reviewed event never received
```

## Use this when
- Cases show reviewed in the Signifyd console but pending in your order system.
- Other Signifyd webhooks arrive but review outcomes do not.
- You changed domains, deployed a firewall, or rotated webhook endpoints recently.

## Not for this skill when
- The case is genuinely still under investigation in Signifyd. Wait for the SLA or escalate the case itself.
- Guarantee decisions arrive but fulfilment ignores them. That is your order logic, not delivery.

## Steps
1. In Signifyd settings, confirm webhook delivery is enabled, the URL is your current production endpoint, and review outcome events are among the subscribed types. Verify: the configuration lists the correct URL and the review event type.
2. Send a test webhook or review a test case and watch your endpoint logs in real time for the request and your response code. Verify: the test event arrives and your endpoint returns a success status.
3. If nothing arrives, check DNS, TLS, and firewall or WAF rules for the Signifyd source and confirm the endpoint is publicly reachable without authentication challenges. Verify: an external check reaches the endpoint and gets the expected response to a health request.
4. Fix the endpoint to acknowledge quickly and process asynchronously if handling was timing out. Verify: delivery attempts stop retrying and show delivered in Signifyd.
5. Add polling reconciliation: daily, fetch outcomes for orders pending past the normal review window and update any Signifyd has closed. Verify: a staged missed webhook is corrected by the next poll run.

## Variant phrasings
### signifyd webhook not received case outcome
Outcome phrasing.
### signifyd case closed but order still pending
Order state phrasing.
### missing signifyd review webhook delivery
Delivery phrasing.

Compatibility: Signifyd webhooks on the current console and API. Event names follow Signifyd webhook documentation; older integrations may use legacy case event names, so confirm yours against the docs.

## Why it happens
Webhook chains break at their quietest link: a URL edited during a migration, a WAF rule added by another team, an endpoint that got slower until the sender gave up. Signifyd side the case lifecycle completes normally, so support sees no problem, while your system waits forever for a message that was sent, rejected, or never subscribed.

## Edge cases / pitfalls
- Retries stop after a window. Polling reconciliation is not optional if fulfilment depends on the outcome.
- Test cases reviewed by your own team are the safest trigger for a live webhook test.
- Keep raw webhook payloads logged for 30 days. They are the only proof of what was actually sent.
