DataForSEO: live results are kept once, queue results age from task time
With DataForSEO, persist live results immediately because they are never stored, and remember that queued results reflect the moment you posted the task, not the moment you collected them. Poll tasks_ready no faster than every few seconds.
Context: From a community API research writeup on DataForSEO. Two retention gotchas with real teeth. Live-mode results are not retained at all: retrievable exactly once, so you must persist them yourself. And SERP data is captured when the task is set, not when results are collected: collecting a 25-day-old standard-queue task returns 25-day-old SERP data. The writeup also notes a tasks_ready poll loop must be at least 3 seconds apart.Maintainer review
