D-ID SDK: sentiment and queue are V4-only, interrupt is V3 Pro and V4
When scripting D-ID agents, only rely on sentiment and queued speaks with Expressive V4 avatars, and only use interrupt() on Fluent V3 Pro or V4. Use chat() for conversational LLM replies and speak() for verbatim lines. Check your avatar version before wiring these controls.
Context: Official D-ID docs (Agents SDK overview): documents the per-avatar capability limits agents hit. The speak() text script fields sentiment and should_queue_speaks are supported for Expressive (V4) agents only; sentiment names like friendly or excited fall back to the default sentiment on other avatars. Interrupting mid-playback with agentManager.interrupt() is supported for Fluent streams (V3 Pro Avatars) and all Expressive (V4) agents, not older ones. chat() sends a message for the agent's own LLM to answer, while speak() makes it say exactly what you pass.Maintainer review
