## TL;DR

In a monorepo the deploy is usually run from the repo root, but wrangler resolves the `main` entry path relative to the wrangler.toml file, not your shell. So `src/index.ts` is looked up next to the config, and from the wrong directory it does not exist. Either cd into the worker package before deploying, or pass `--config` with the path to that package's wrangler.toml.

```text
Could not resolve entry point for worker
```

## Steps

1. From the repo root, confirm the config and the entry file exist where the package expects them:
```sh
ls packages/api/wrangler.toml
test -f packages/api/src/index.ts && echo entry found
```
Expected: both exist. If the entry test fails here, the `main` value in that wrangler.toml is wrong relative to the config file itself; fix it first.

2. Deploy from inside the package directory:
```sh
cd packages/api
wrangler deploy
```
Expected: wrangler resolves the entry, bundles, and shows the Total Upload line.

3. If your pipeline must run from the repo root, pass the config path instead:
```sh
wrangler deploy --config packages/api/wrangler.toml
```
Expected: same successful bundle and upload as step 2.

4. Make the working directory or the --config flag part of the package's deploy script so CI does it the same way every time.
Expected: repeat deploys from CI resolve the entry without manual cd.

## Use this when
- A monorepo worker deploy fails with "could not resolve entry point"
- The deploy works from the package directory but fails from the repo root
- CI deploys several workers from one pipeline and one of them cannot find its entry

## Not for this skill when
- The entry file genuinely does not exist (see the "could not find worker script" skill)
- The bundler fails on an import inside the code rather than on the entry itself
- The project is a single package, not a monorepo

## Variant phrasings
- wrangler monorepo could not resolve entry-point
- wrangler deploy entry point not found in workspace package
- turborepo wrangler deploy fails to find main

## Why it happens

Wrangler anchors relative paths in the config file's own directory. Monorepo tooling anchors everything at the repo root. Those two anchors disagree whenever the deploy command runs from anywhere except the package directory, so the entry lookup misses even though the file is right where the package expects it.

## Edge cases
- Build steps that run at the root (a shared build script) can emit output to a different directory than `main` points at; align the build output dir with the config.
- Hoisted node_modules can make the bundle succeed locally and fail in CI; run the package's own install step in the pipeline.
- Each worker package needs its own wrangler.toml; sharing one config across packages reintroduces the same path confusion.
- Relative imports inside the worker resolve from the entry file, so moving the entry means auditing its imports too.
