MessageBird SMS sender ignored: per-country originator restrictions
When SMS sent through MessageBird shows the wrong sender or fails in a specific country, check that country's originator rules before your code. The US requires a numeric originator; alphanumeric sender names are not allowed there. Originator handling is per-destination-country, so a setup that works for Denmark can break for the US.

The accepted answer clarifies the rule with a concrete example: sending to the US, you cannot use an alphanumeric originator like a company name; you must use a numeric phone number.
