Mux static MP4: highest or explicit resolutions, no upscaling, mp4_support deprecated
To let users download Mux videos, enable static_renditions with highest or an explicit resolution list; do not mix the two modes. Expect renditions above the source resolution to be skipped, and use static_renditions rather than the deprecated mp4_support field.
Context: Official Mux docs (static MP4 renditions): documents how to make videos downloadable. Enable static_renditions with highest for the top quality up to 4K, or pick specific resolutions like 1080p and 720p, plus audio-only for an M4A download. You cannot mix highest with specific resolutions. Mux never upscales, so renditions above the source resolution are skipped automatically.
