Steps

1. In Brex, open the transaction with the receipt-required badge. Expected: the transaction detail shows the missing-receipt notice.
2. Attach the receipt: snap it in the Brex mobile app, upload a PDF on web, or forward the emailed receipt to your Brex receipts inbox address. Expected: the receipt previews on the transaction.
3. Check that the badge clears and the transaction advances to review. Expected: status no longer shows receipt required.
4. If there is no receipt (tolls, parking meters), file the missing-receipt declaration in Brex with a written explanation. Expected: the transaction proceeds with the declaration attached.
5. Enable Brex's automatic receipt matching and reminders for your team. Expected: emailed receipts attach themselves and cardholders get nudged at purchase time.

When to use

• A Brex transaction shows "receipt required" and will not finalize.
• You are closing the books and unreceipted Brex transactions are outstanding.
