ImageKit folder delete wipes nested files and versions permanently
Never call folder delete from automation without an explicit allowlist of folder paths and a dry-run listing first. If you only need to remove some files, delete file versions individually instead of the folder. Keep a separate backup of anything irreplaceable before any bulk delete.
Context: Official docs (ImageKit API reference, via SDK docs): deleting a folder deletes the folder and all nested files, their versions, and subfolders, and the action cannot be undone. Agents doing cleanup automation that target a folder path expecting only empty-folder removal can wipe entire asset trees including version history.
