Galileo Python SDK methods failing silently or returning None
Yes, this is by design: the Galileo SDK catches exceptions internally so logging never crashes your app, which makes failures silent.
Yes, this is by design: the Galileo SDK catches exceptions internally so logging never crashes your app, which makes failures silent. The errors go to a dedicated Python logger named galileo.utils.catch_log, which is silent unless you configure it. Add a handler before importing Galileo: get that logger, set its level, and attach a StreamHandler, then import and use GalileoLogger as normal. Once that is on, the common silent failures show up: invalid keyword arguments passed to SDK methods and network connectivity problems reaching the Galileo APIs.
Context: Some galileo SDK calls seem to do nothing: no exception, no error, just None back or missing data. Is there a debug mode?
