SingleStore vector range search: EXPLAIN proves the index is used
[docs.singlestore.com]: in the EXPLAIN output, the ColumnStoreFilter row shows INTERNAL_VECTOR_RANGE_SEARCH when the plan uses a vector index for range search. Use index hints to pin behavior: USE INDEX with the index name forces a specific vector index and errors if that index is not available, while empty parentheses USE INDEX () disables vector index use entirely. List indexes with SHOW INDEXES. Reference: the Vector Range Search page in the SingleStore docs.
Context: Vector range queries can silently fall back to full scans. The EXPLAIN plan tells you whether the index kicked in.Maintainer review
