## The fix

heroku ps:exec stopped working after upgrading to CLI v10: fixed in 10.0.1. Run heroku update (or upgrade to >= 10.0.1). If you installed via Homebrew and update does not help, your install predates the Cask change: brew uninstall heroku, then brew install heroku, then heroku update.
