Context: Official docs (branch settings): documents the gotcha that a Xata branch with 0 replicas has no standby promotion target and cannot automatically fail over. A primary failure, or any update that restarts or replaces the primary, makes the database unavailable until the primary returns. Agents provisioning branches for production with default replica counts can ship a single point of failure.
