Rev AI transcription with wrong language parameter - no error, just bad results

If I set the language parameter to en but the audio is actually in Spanish, what happens? Do I get an error, or just poor confidence scores? I tried the same audio file with a smaller chunk size and the error persisted. The file plays fine locally, so it is not corrupt.
