Unable to install windows-amd64 binary of SurrealDB (installer script error)

I tried installing SurrealDB on Windows 10 with iwr https://windows.surrealdb.com -useb | iex and the installer script threw an error before it even created the directory. The thread is from September 2022. The maintainer tobiemh worked through it with the reporter on the thread and updated the install script.

The Windows installer script had a bug in how it built the install directory path, so it failed before creating anything. The maintainer fixed the script and the reporter confirmed: I can install the software and the path is set. If the Windows install one-liner fails for you, pull the latest version of the script from windows.surrealdb.com and rerun it, the fix went in with the updated website.
