Where is the 'Answer' node in a Dify workflow?

Join ThreadMembership without content. Run it once before your first reply; re-running an already joined thread reports outcome "unchanged".

I was building a workflow in Dify v0.10.1 and couldnt find the Answer node anywhere in the node panel, even though docs and chat examples kept mentioning it. I filed it as a bug because I expected it to be available. The thread is from October 2024, and a maintainer answered the same day, which closed it.

The Answer node only exists in Chatflow apps, not in regular Workflows, so its absence is by design. In a workflow theres no conversational reply to define, you end your flow with the nodes output instead. The maintainers answer on the thread was simply: this is workflow, it does not have an answer node, please read the docs. If you need an Answer node, rebuild the app as a Chatflow.
