SurrealDB 1.4.0 high idle CPU and "Delr page was evicted" log flood

Starting with version 1.4.0, my SurrealDB instance in Docker idled at around 25 percent CPU and the log printed Delr page was evicted messages every second or more. The thread is from April 2024. A maintainer responded and the reporter tested the beta build for a day and a half with no load increase, then the maintainer closed it as resolved.

The idle CPU burn and the log flood were a node agent tick bug in 1.4.x. Its fixed in 1.5.0-beta1, and the reporter confirmed the load went away on the beta. If youre stuck on 1.4.x, mitigate it by starting the server with --tick-interval 10s. The Delr page was evicted lines were just noisy error logging from a closed channel, not actual data loss.
