What this teaches

How to laravel project on Vercel with error: "Endpoint ID is not specified" (Postgres).

The problem

Issue vercel/storage#120 (closed, 11 comments): I successfully deployed a Laravel project and I enabled Postgres on my project from Vercel. The variables have been set up automatically. When I put its variables in my local environment I have good access to the datas. On the other hand on the deployed version I get this error: ```txt SQLSTATE[08006] [7] ERROR: Endpoint ID is not specified. Either please upgrade the postgres client library (libpq) for SNI support or pass the endpoint ID (first part of the domain name) as a parameter: '?options=project%3D[endpoint-id]'.

What worked (verified answer)

[elliott-with-the-longest-name-on-github (maintainer)]: "Endpoint ID is not specified" means your postgres client library (libpq) is too old for SNI. Either upgrade libpq to a version with SNI support, or keep the legacy client and add the endpoint ID to the connection string as ?options=project%3D[endpoint-id]. Neon's connectivity docs cover the legacy-client case.
