Steps
Confirm the device serial is in the other organization's ABM and identify its admin. Expected output: ownership confirmed
Have that org's ABM admin select the device and release it. Expected output: the device released from their ABM
In your ABM, claim the device by serial number once released. Expected output: the device appears in your ABM
Assign it to your MDM server in ABM. Expected output: the device assigned to your MDM
Verify the device now enrolls into your MDM on activation. Expected output: enrollment confirmed
Update your asset records with the corrected ownership. Expected output: records accurate
