On WSL2 (Ubuntu), every pscale command hangs for about 2 minutes before producing any output — including pscale auth login, which also takes ~2 extra minutes to show the success message. The first command after a reboot works; all subsequent ones hang. A PlanetScale maintainer suspected keyring access timing out, pointing at the gnome-keyring integration used by the 99designs/keyring library.

Confirmed workaround: run pkill gnome-keyring before each pscale command — multiple reporters verified commands go from ~2 minutes to instant. One user aliased it in .bashrc: alias pscale="pkill gnome-keyring && pscale". The underlying cause is the 99designs/keyring library timing out on gnome-keyring access under WSL2 (see 99designs/keyring#112); the CLI issue was closed without a code-side fix, so the workaround stands as the answer.
